Does Nattokinase Work?

The short answer is Yes!

Nattokinase has been studied in humans, and published research has reported measurable changes in cardiovascular-related laboratory and carotid measurements.

Human evidence exists

One of the most important human investigations found that nattokinase activity level mattered: the higher-activity regimen (10,800 FU daily) produced significant changes across the reported measurements in 1001 people, while the lower-activity (3,600 FU daily) comparison did not show comparable significant changes in 61 people.

The higher activity regimen over 12 months reported statistical significance for these before and after changes. Lipids were assessed in 1,062, and carotid imaging available for 683.

Reported proportions showing improvement were:

Takeaway

Nattokinase has meaningful human research behind it, and even more meaningful outcomes that are determined by the dose, activity and formulation.

PBE built PB Natto around that same principle: start with meaningful enzyme activity, then think carefully about how that activity is delivered.
